Over the years, the businesses and residents of Spruce Grove have provided outstanding support to the local Christmas Hamper Program. For the 43rd year, the Kinette Club of Spruce Grove is working to make Christmas brighter for local families struggling with a limited income. Our goal is to assist families in need with food and gifts for the holidays and last year, with your help, we collected and prepared 545 hampers!
At present, Parkland Food Bank use in Spruce Grove is up over 60% from last fall; as a result, we are expecting another huge increase to our program again this year (likely closer to 900 hampers). This is a HUGE undertaking, and to achieve this goal, we rely on the kindness and generosity of our entire community to collect monetary donations, non-perishable food items and gifts.
Ways you can help us reach these goals and support your community at Christmas:
Our goal is to have monetary donations in as soon as possible, and for planning purposes, we ask that these donations be received by Friday, December 9, 2016. We are more than happy to pick up your donation, or you can forward it to the following address:

The hampers will be prepared and assembled the week of December 12, 2016 at the Spruce Grove Alliance Church gymnasium, at 250 Century Road. We kindly ask that non-perishable collections and gifts be delivered to the Church in the morning on Monday, December 12, 2016.
